I'll have to check this one out..sounds trippy. He did another obscure film not many have seen called Eaten Alive, he did it right after Texas Chainsaw. It's a weird, yet watchable slasher. That one also feels like being on some sort of drug trip at times, thought its not technically surreal, it's just weird.
